MWM Training Center

Learning is a process that requires a commitment of time to learn and the discipline to practice what you learn. It is the same for every subject and no different for grappling. Techniques you learn in self-defense can be carried with you wherever you go. This project represents a very modest introduction to how to defend yourself and show off what you have learned to others. If these techniques excite you, then I encourage you to take formal classes in jiu-jitsu or other martial arts to take your training to the next level.
Below are different categories of self-defense techniques. Be sure to stretch before practicing as the more flexible you are, the easier it will be move around on the mat. Ideally, you have a trusted friend or significant other you can practice with. We will also practice at least a couple of times prior to doing a shoot and I will prepare a list of techniques to review in advance. Every video listed on this site is a YouTube video which allows you to slow down the speed of the video or just stop and start it as needed to help study and practice the techniques.
